Comparing WalkingPad A1 and C1

BY Cavarii No comments

Treadmill for Home
WalkingPad C1 treadmill is perfect for home use. When the weather condition or air quality is poor outside, or you just don’t feel like going to the gym, a compact treadmill can save you from the guilty of sitting around at home. Wherever you live or however large your house is, a compact treadmill can be folded and put under the sofa or bed. You can walk, jog, or run while watching TV. It is also suitable for children and senior citizens. WalkingPad makes sports easier and achievable.

The WalkingPad is a compact treadmills product launched by Xiaomi Ecological Chain Enterprise. Because of its small size and good performance, the “walking board” can be fully folded and is very compact, and can be store easily under sofa, bed or cabinets.

The DifferencesWhat are the differences between the 2 models? The following comparison chart gives an overview, follow by our comparison on some of the major features.

App use
A1 is using Xiaomi's Mijia App to manage the walking machine, being part of the Xiaomi Ecological Chain Enterprise, the Mijia app can control over a hundred different type of devices specially selected for the Xiaomi Ecological Chain Enterprise family

C1 is using WalkingPad's own developed App, WalkingPad, and can manage only their own devices. The WalkingPad App is only in English and Chinese interface, while MiJia App is multi-language.

Body build and shell design.
A1 is build with integrated aluminium alloy, with an IML injection molding, which gives it a more premium product look. As for C1, it is assembled body built and shell cover is build from plastic.

Running Board
A1's running board is built with high-density fibreboard while C1's board is build from aluminium alloy.

Different appearance
Although the walking boards of the A1 and C1 can be folded, the appearance of the two is quite different.

The WalkingPad A1 is silver-gray in color, and the "walking" shape is more streamline and looks more stable.

The appearance of Walkingpad C1 s white. The front, middle and rear sides of the "walking platform" have protruding areas, which seem not that streamline.

Different body parameters
Walkingpad A1's unfolding size is 1432 (L) *547 (W) * 129 (H), walking belt area (walking area) is 1200 (L) * 415 (W); rated power is 746W, the speed range is 0.5km/h - 6km/h; the net weight of the product is 28kg, and the maximum load is 90kg.

The size of the Walkingpad C1 walking machine is 1449 (L) 528 (W) * 114 (H), the walking belt area (walking area) is 1200 (L) * 400 (W); C1 rated power is 588W, the speed range is 0.5km/h - 6km/h; the net weight of the product is 22kg, and the maximum load is 110kg.

Compared with the two, the walking area of the Walkingpad C1 walking machine is slightly narrower, the motor power is also reduced a lot, the net weight of the body is also lighter, but it does not affect the maximum speed of the walking machine, and the bearing capacity is stronger. Some more, the performance is almost the same as the Walkingpad A1 walking machine.

Different data display methods
The Walkingpad A1 can display the current status (manual, automatic or standby mode), exercise time and other information in front of the machine head, making it more convenient and intuitive to use.

There is only one indicator light on the head of the Walkingpad C1 walking machine. The current state and movement time display function of the walking machine is designed on the remote control. To understand the movement time, the remote control should be held in the hand at all times. Inconvenience.

Which is better?
From the above comparison, the main difference between the two is the appearance, running belt width and load-bearing capacity, and other properties are basically the same (or have little effect on walking). Therefore, the Walkingpad C1 is more cost-effective and can be used by more heavy-duty athletes without paying attention to the appearance.

If you prefer a calm, atmospheric appearance, the WalkingPad A1 is also good, although the price is a little more more expensive, but the running belt is wider and more comfortable to use; in addition, the driving power of the Walkingpad A1 is larger, and the load of the motor during operation is smaller. More durable.

First Time Users or Oral-B Electric Toothbrush

BY Cavarii 1 comment

First Time Charging of your Oral-B
  • If this is your first time using the product, you should fully charge the battery before using, which can take up to 16 to 22 hours.
  • Once your handle is fully charged, continue using your electric toothbrush until no charge is left, or when the battery level indicator starts flashing. Then, fully charge it again instead of charging between each use. This will help your battery perform at its best longer.

    • It will depends on the model of your Oral-B and the type of rechargeable battery it use for the brush handle. Once the red charge light appears the battery capacity may last 1 or 2 cycles, but this depends on user behavior, age of battery and various other factors related to the product

    • Note - While the toothbrush handle can be washed all over and rinse with water, but the bottom of the toothbrush handle should be dried before charging.
    • For Vitality series of toothbrush handle, since there is no charging or battery indicator light, the best way to check whether the Oral-B Vitality brush is charging is to pick the toothbrush up off the charger after 30 minutes and switch it on. If it comes to life, you know it's charging. Switch it back off and leave it on the charging stand for the full 16 hours it needs to complete a full charge.

How to Clean Your Electric Toothbrush
It’s important to take care of your electric toothbrush to make sure you get your best clean with every brush. Here are some tips on how to clean and take care of your electric toothbrush to keep your smile at its healthiest.

Because one of the main purposes of a toothbrush is to remove bacteria from your mouth, it’s important to keep your toothbrush sanitary and free of bacteria.

Keep these tips in mind to keep your electric toothbrush clean and safe:
    • Keep it covered on the road, but not at home. When you travel, put your toothbrush in a toothbrush travel case, don’t let it roll around uncovered in your suitcase or toiletry bag where it can pick up dust, dirt, and bacteria. But don’t store a toothbrush in a toothbrush travel case at home-the chronically moist environment can promote bacteria growth. If you must use a covered toothbrush holder frequently, look for one with small holes to let air in.
    • When at home, store your toothbrush upright in a cup or a toothbrush holder that allows it to air dry and has several openings to keep multiple toothbrushes separate.
    • Consider a sanitizer. There are commercially available "toothbrush sanitizers," but there’s no solid evidence to suggest that they actually keep toothbrushes cleaner than simply rinsing them with water after use and allowing them to dry. If you want to try a sanitizer, look for one that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for "reducing bacterial contamination that occurs naturally on toothbrushes." Be suspicious of sanitizing products that make unrealistic claims. And never try to clean your toothbrush by putting it in the dishwasher or microwave; the high temperatures can damage the brush.
    Electric Toothbrush Storage and Maintenance
In addition to the tips above, you should rinse your electric toothbrush every day with tap water after use to remove toothpaste and debris.
    • Don’t over-brush. Putting too much pressure on your toothbrush can cause the bristles to wear out more quickly and be less effective when cleaning.
    • Store your toothbrush in an upright position to let it air-dry.

    Replacing the brush heads
Replace your Oral-B® Electric Toothbrush brush head every three months, or when the blue Indicator® bristles fade halfway to white, or earlier if you notice fraying. Simply pull the old brush head off your handle at a straight angle, and snap on a new brush head in the same manner.
